The Free Libertarian Party (FLP), formerly the Alliance for Reason (AfR), is a right-libertarian and classical liberal party in the Federated States of Gapla. Wyatt Baek has been the party's leader since its founding, and is its sole provisional governor.

In 2025, the party split from the Free Rightist Party due to conflicts between libertarian and conservative factions of the party. In 2026, the party merged with unofficial libertarian factions to become a broader libertarian party.

History

Ideology and platform

In terms of social policy, the party is culturally liberal. The party supports legal same-sex marriage and euthanasia, and is critical of police violence, supports the legalization of drugs and prostitution, and supports gun rights. The party supports freedom of speech, even for hate speech and other offensive speech. However, the party is neutral on abortion rights and opposes affirmative action. While the party supports gender self-identification, it opposes the inclusion of gender on government documents.

In terms of economic policy, the party favors a laissez faire capitalist economy of classical liberalism with limited government regulation and welfare, supporting volunteerism and voluntary, private regulation. The party has advocated for a flat percentage income tax to replace all other taxes at the federal and state levels.
