Intellectual nationalism
Intellectual nationalism is an multicultural nationalist ideology advocating and sense of national identity derived from the selection for intelligence of its citizens, rather than their achievements, cultural heritage, or race. Prior to settlement, it advocates for the settler selection primarily on the basis of intelligence, rather than race, former nationality, political beliefs, or other characteristics.
The ideology argues that a multicultural society with a higher average intelligence will have many superior characteristics due to the predictive power of intelligence, including group cohesion. In contrast to ethnic nationalism or ideological nationalism, it claims that a common culture, ethnicity, or ideology is not necessary to create a society with superior characteristics, such as high trust, group cohesion, or wealth. The ideology was coined by Wyatt Baek and is a foundational principle of the Alliance for Reason.
