Collin Matthew Esposo (né Hose, born 18 October 1995) is a Gaplan politician and educator who has served as the 6th President of Gapla since 2026, following the resignations of Hendrik Täks and Connor Klinkosch. He is currently a member of the Provisional Government, serving as the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Esposo is the first president from outside of Generation Z and the first openly gay president.
Esposo joined Gapla in May 2026, after the former Verdis National Party — which he founded and led — voted to leave the Free Republic of Verdis and join Gapla due to tensions between the party and the Verdisian government. Members of the former party created the Gapla Civic Party, which he has led since its founding.
Personal life
Esposo was raised in rural communities in Illinois, a state in the United States. Outside of Gapla, he is a teacher with degrees in Education and Curriculum and Instruction.
