The National Assembly of Gapla, formerly known as the Parliament of Gapla, is the planned unicameral combined legislature and executive of the Federated States of Gapla. However, the National Assembly is currently dissolved prior to settlement and the Provisional Government temporarily holds legislative and executive (as well as judicial) power following the National Assembly's dissolution during the Danubian reformations.
Six out of twenty members of the National Assembly—the President of Gapla, Deputy President of Gapla, and state governors and deputy governors—are planned to be executive members, and the remaining fourteen members are planned to be legislative members elected for one year terms using nationwide party-list proportional representation. The leader of the legislative members is known as the Speaker.
Prior to dissolution, the National Assembly was bicameral, with the Federation Council as its upper house and the Chamber of Deputies as its lower house, and the former Parliament of Gapla was a bicameral legislature with the Executive Council—with national leaders—as its upper house and the Chamber of Representatives—with proportional representatives from each state—as its lower house.
