The Prime Minister of Gapla, officially the President of the Council of Ministers of the Federated States of Gapla, is the head of government of the Federated States of Gapla. The Prime Minister is also the primary advisor to the President of Gapla, the head of state.
The Prime Minister is appointed annually by members of the Provisional Government (following nomination by the President of Gapla) in their capacity as the sole governing authority of the country before the inauguration of a constitution following settlement. The office is limited to one holder.
History
Following the Republican Transition Amendment to the Provisional Charter, the office of Prime Minister was created as the successor to the office of Deputy President of Gapla.
