In the Federated States of Gapla, a legacy Gaplan or a legacy citizen is a notable Gaplan citizen who is no longer active in Gaplan politics, particularly following the Danubian reformations of 2023, which transformed Gapla from a traditional micronation to a new country project by the Danube. Notable examples include Emma Bunnell and Renaldo Chang.
Many legacy Gaplans joined Gapla from the Alternative Program for Academically Advanced Students (APAAS) at Deerfield Elementary School, where Gapla was founded.
