Presidential elections are scheduled to be held in the Federated States of Gapla on 6 January 2026, to elect the president and deputy president for a term of one year. By the Charter of the Provisional Government, the election must take place between 1 January and 31 January 2026.
In the 2025 elections, Chelsea Chen and Mohammad Ahmed Arshad were elected as president and deputy president respectively, but Arshad's resignation prior to his inauguration resulted in Rosie Cordova's appointment to the deputy presidency. Following Chen's resignation after a scandal involving a Member of the European Parliament, Cordova became president in one of the fastest political rises in Gaplan history.
